I need to get some work done BUT….. {Natalie Update}

I need to get some work done BUT…

I can’t stop staring at this adorable little girl!

Seriously!

I visit her at the NICU every day. Most days I am there from around 12-6:30. Some days, I stay later than that. It seems like all of my time is spent either at the hospital of on the 40-minute drive there or back home, only to pass out in bed..

BUT…. 

I LOVE IT! Because I get to see this adorable little face every single day. The worst part is the leaving in the evening.

BUT….

THIS WEEK, she will be coming HOME! Praise the Lord! We don’t know exactly when yet but I can hardly wait!

She is doing great! I have been putting up short updates on Facebook but for those of you who have not seen, here are her recent updates:

* She passed both her MRI and EEG with flying colors. All normal brain activity for her age.

* She got her umbilical IV out a few days ago and we got to start holding her!

* On Thursday, her 1-week birthday, she got to try a tiny bit of my milk from a bottle for the first time and has been doing great since..

* And just today, she nursed for the first time! She latched perfectly and drank like a champ! I could hardly believe it!!

So thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for us this week!! And please continue to send them our way.. We’re not out of the woods yet but we sure are doing pretty darn good!

And thank you for understanding my slacking on my blog… I have so many reviews and giveaways backed up but again, I’ve been a bit distracted.. So I will continue to write them up when I have a few minutes here and there, when I’m not too busy staring at my beautiful daughter..
