Transition to a balance bike with the PlasmaBike!! {Review and #giveaway}

Learning the skills of balance needed to ride a bicycle is one of the rights of passage for every child. For some, though, this skill can take more time to learn, especially for a balance-impared child like my little Eli.. I love him dearly but the kid can barely walk straight without tripping over his own feet!

I have wanted to get him a balance bike for a while now, because Cohen has one, but I have been concerned. The one Cohen has is like a regular bike, with thin, air-filled tires, and Eli just topples right over when he tries to ride on it.. I was so excited when I saw the PlasmaBike on my friend Danielle’s blog, Simmworks Family Blog! I knew just from looking at her pictures that this would be the perfect transitional bike for Elias!

It is difficult to convey with pictures the amount of sheer excitement that Eli had over his new PlasmaBike.. When I gave it to him, he immediately screamed with delight and yelled a huge, ‘Thank you, Mommy!‘ over his shoulder as he climbed on his new big boy bike! He did not even hesitate, needing to figure anything out.. He just hopped right on and took off!

No gears, no batteries; just good, clean fun!

Having also the PlasmaCar in our home, I was equally impressed with the simple, high-quality features and design of the PlasmaBike! The PlaSmart company is definitely high on my LOVE-IT list! :)

My son’s favorite features of the bike are the squeaky horn, big ‘motorcycle’ wheels (as he calls them) and the bright red color! My favorite features are the high-quality plastic body that makes it incredibly durable, the lightweight 8-lb frame for easy transport and I also love the fact that when he rides on this new PlasmaBike, he is learning invaluable skills that will last a lifetime! The extra wide wheels make it easy for him to learn balance without my worrying he’ll topple..! The PlasmaCar is perfect for young kids, 18 months and up!
