When I found out that I was pregnant with a little girl, one of my first thoughts was excitement at the thought of a tiny pink fluffy bum! I know to some this may sound silly but if you love cloth diapering, I know you know what I mean! 
Around the house, I use prefolds and covers with Natalie but I knew that I wanted to find a handful of pockets and AIO’s to use when we’re out and about or when someone else is watching her.. I came across the Happy Heinys Mini OS pocket diaper and fell in love! While I usually like snaps, I actually find that with the teeny diapers, you can get the best fit with aplix (velcro). The Happy Heinys Mini pocket diaper fits from 5-15 pounds and fits Natalie like a glove!
Greenie Beanie Bottoms carries this adorably tiny diaper in many different colors and prints (I chose the Candy color)! I absolutely love that it comes with 2 inserts. You can choose to have one in for day-use but for nighttime and/or naps, adding the second insert in is good for heavy-wetters! This diaper also has rise snaps to guarantee the perfect fit for your little one. Natalie is now on the highest rise; she’s already 12 pounds so she’ll be outta this one in no time.. But this diaper is totally worth buying because the real one-size diapers don’t actually fit well until about 10-12 pounds. That means you either have to use disposables until your little one reaches that weight or purchase a newborn diaper stash. The Happy Heinys Mini pocket diaper will last longer than a newborn diaper for sure!

The fit is perfect, the aplix is nice and sticky, as are the wash tabs (what you stick the aplix to during washing), and the absorbency can’t be beat! The first time I tried this on her, she had a ‘poo-splosion’, as I call it (had she been in a disposable, it would have gone everywhere..), and the diaper held it all! I was very impressed and it does perfectly during naptime as well! All in all, this is a top-of-the-line diaper for your little munchkin!
