After the trauma of Natalie’s birth and having her in the NICU for 2 weeks, our relationship did not start out the way it was supposed to.. Needless to say, when she finally came home, it was very difficult for me to put her down. I wanted to spend every moment I could with her while she was awake and snuggle her when she was asleep. With two other children, toddler boys nonetheless, this was not as easy as it sounds. I just wanted to sit and stare at her but I was needed in a million other directions at the same time! Now, I have always loved to wear my babies but I think that for some reason, with Natalie, it feels different. With her, it goes beyond convenience. I feel like I am protecting her, guarding her from the world, keeping her close to my heart. I know this sounds incredibly cheesy but I think that with our unusual start, my feelings are to be expected.. (What do you think? Have you had an experience like this?)

i had problems with the site. i kept getting a french pop up. however, i love earthy colours so if they had a nice grassy green or brown i would choose one of those. i was able to see the store locations and plan to go check them out at a local shop.

Purple. It has been my little girls color even during her NICU times. First memory I have in ICU is the picture of my little girl laying on a purple blanket. First time I got to see her and it will always be my favorite color on her.
