Teach kids healthy sleep habits with SleepBuddy {Review and #Giveaway}

Making the transition from crib to bed is difficult for most children. I went through this with both of my boys. Both kept getting out of bed to play after I left the room, being freed from the bars of the crib, even though they knew they were supposed to stay in bed. Any parent that has been through this knows it can be an incredibly hard battle to fight! With the new and ingenious, mom-invented SleepBuddy sleep system, parents can teach their little ones the art of a healthy sleep routine with ease.

Our SleepBuddy came wrapped up in a cute little box, just like a present, making both boys instantly excited about it! When opening it up, we found the SleepBuddy, instructions for parents, bedtime book to introduce the SleepBuddy and a progress chart with fun stickers. I was very excited to get to try this out with both boys, especially Eli, who just moved to a big boy bed! The SleepBuddy was very easy to set up and not only provided the boys with a visual cue to stay in bed, but also a nightlight for the dark.

SleepBuddy is for children who are:

  • In the crib and moving to a bed within 1-2 months
  • Currently transitioning from crib to bed, or
  • Sleeping in a bed but not staying through the night.

Three simple steps toward sound, healthy sleep.

Present and explain SleepBuddy to your child. The system includes an engaging children’s book to help your child understand the concept.

Program the soft blue light to turn on for scheduled nap time and when it is time for your child to go bed at night. Place the light in his/her room where it can be seen from the bed.

Record your child’s progress with the included incentive chart and smiley stickers. When a goal is reached, choose a reward that you feel is right for your child.

The SleepBuddy sleep system is a necessity for all parents during this transitional sleeping period in their toddler’s life! It is simple for each child, ages 1-3, to grasp the concept of the SleepBuddy, especially with the Bedtime Book included in the kit. The SleepBuddy is simple for kids and convenient for parents, resulting in long-term healthy sleep patterns and routines! Definitely a must-have in my book!
