Looking at little Natalie now, you would never know the beginning she had! I am so thankful that despite all our troubles at first, she just keeps growing normally into a healthy little girl!
I am truly blessed beyond words.
This was my little Natalie, less than 24 hours old:
Breaks you heart, doesn’t it. I know I can’t help but cry when I see these pictures of her even though she is not like that anymore.. Just knowing how close I was to losing her.. Well, I just try not to think about it most of the time. However sometimes, it is good to remind myself just how blessed I am! 
Here is little Natalie Rose today; a true miracle:
At her 2-month well baby checkup:
- She saw a new doctor in our pediatricians office and again, the doctor said how amazed she is at how well Natalie is doing! {Praise the Lord!}
- She measured 23 inches long (she’s grown 3 whole inches since birth!)
- She weighed 11 lbs, 8 oz (that’s a 3 lb, 3 oz gain since birth as well!); she’s a growin’ machine!
- I held off on the shots she was supposed to get at this visit. I choose a delayed and selective schedule for my kids so I’ll start some of her shots around 6 months..
- The doctor checked her all over; body tone, hips, head growth, neck strength, etc.. and she looks perfect. She’s right on track!
I can’t wait to see what exciting things this next month will hold with my beautiful girl and two handsome boys!

I am so happy to hear she is doing so well!! Such a cutie!! those first pictures remind me of my lo when he was born and in the NICU. I still cry when I see those and that was over 4 years ago. Just hard to see your lo hooked up to all of those monitors and struggling. So glad she is happy and healthy!!
She is such a little doll. Breaks my heart seeing her like this also. You’ve been blessed for sure! They don’t stay babies too long, that’s for sure. She seems to be doing great!
That first picture is so sad. I am so glad to see and hear that she is doing so great. Modern medicine is sure a blessing sometimes!

You are so blessed! She is just adorable. It’s just amazing how time flies. I was looking at newborn pictures of my now almost 4 year old the other day! Wow, where has it gone?

I am glad she is doing well! My son was born with health issue and preemie… It is a scary and difficult thing for parents to cope with.
