I used to wear jewelry all the time but now, after having kids, most of the time I don’t wear anything at all! The sterling silver wax seal initial charm measures 3/4″ in diameter and comes on an 18″ sterling silver chain with a freshwater pearl.
I love my new initial necklace and wear it all the time. I also get a lot of compliments about it as well! I love that even though it is small and simple, it is also very feminine; I love the pearl! It can either be dressed up or down, with whatever outfit I am wearing. The fact that it is sterling silver means that it won’t make funny colors on your skin if it happens to get wet and it is very high quality, it is made to last!

It all started when I tried to open a craft store in fourth grade with my best friend. We spent weeks sewing and making little purses and crafts. We then set up a store and waited for customers….and waited….and waited. We couldn’t figure out why we didn’t get any customers, but I am pretty sure it had something to do with the craft store being located in the back yard and no advertising. Many years later I started a monogramming and jewelry business in 2004, Lauren Nicole Gifts (named after my niece). I design and hand make each piece of jewelry to order while my husband helps out with cutting and forming the silver pieces that are used in the hand stamped jewelry designs. While my husband is still in the Army Lauren Nicole Gifts will continue to be an on-line business only. Once he retires from the Army we plan on opening a retail store in Colorado.
I often get asked what I like to make the most. My absolute favorite pieces are the children’s artwork pendants. I LOVE when customers email me children’s artwork so that I can capture it on a silver pendant. It is so rewarding to see the world from a child’s point of view. It always brightens my day!
