Award Winning Booster Seat from The First Years :: Compass B570 Pathway Booster #giveaway

I’m pretty sure most mothers will agree with me when I say that my children are growing up far too fast for my liking.. I can hardly believe that my oldest son is now 4 years old and ready for a big boy booster seat! Thank goodness The First Years has my back and has come up with an amazing booster that sets my mind at ease, while my firstborn is growing up..!

I am happy to share with you all today the new First Years Compass B570 Pathway Booster Seat, created for kids 30-100 pounds!

The First Years Family of Highest-Rated Pathway Booster Car Seats: Easy for You, Safer for Your Child!

Ready to move to a belt-positioning booster? Our boosters will deliver many miles of happy driving and one of the most comfortable rides ever! The full line of The First Years Belt Positioning Boosters has been awarded the highest ease of use rating, five stars, from the National Highway Transportation Administration (NHTSA).

Ever worry that the seatbelt is not positioned correctly when you buckle your little one in for the ride? With the new Pathway Booster Seat, those worries should disappear.

This new booster from The First Years allows you the flexibility to adjust the shoulder belt path up to 1.5″ so your child will be comfortable and secure each and every time. And the lap belt positioning has been adjusted for a more comfortable and better fit. This is our most innovative seat to date!

The self-adjusting back means you should have no issues with installation in any back seat. When the seat is not in use, the lower anchor attachments keep it secure–an added safety benefit for all of your passengers. No more worries about forgetting to secure the seat with your vehicle’s seat belt.

The Pathway headrest has been developed to control your child’s head in the event of a crash. The deep headrest and contoured shape will help contain and control your child’s head on impact. Side-impact testing is standard for all of The First Years’ seats; we side-impact test to Australian standards–the most stringent standards for side-impact testing.

As with all of the booster seats from The First Years, this has our patented one-hand fold, making storage and moving from car to car easy and stress-free. Did you ever have dirty cupholders with no easy way to clean them out? Our two cupholders are removable and dishwasher-safe: no more dirty cupholders! And as with all of The First Years seats, the cupholders are properly-oriented to really hold the cups in place when the seat is installed correctly.

The features of the Pathway B570 are:

  • Received a five-star “Ease of Use” government rating from NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration)
  • Color-coded adjustable shoulder belt path for better fit
  • Color-coded lap belt positioning for a better fit
  • Latch attachments for secure installation when not in use
  • Deeper headrest for better head containment
  • Two removable cupholders for easy cleaning
  • Self-adjusting seat back for better installation
  • Six-position adjustable “no gap” back
  • Taller belt path to accommodate larger children
  • Patented easy, one-hand fold
  • Built-in carry handle
  • Deep side wing protection
  • Side-impact tested to international standards
  • Narrow bottom rails for better installation in smaller cars
  • For use with children 30-100 lbs. (3-10 years old)
  • Weighs 9 lbs.

I have so many favorites about the new Compass B570 Pathway booster! I love that it has a quick and easy one-hand folding design. The adjustable seat back and shoulder belt path are both incredibly important to ensure the perfect fit on every child, no matter their size! The booster also fits children from 30 to 100 pounds, which I think it great, and plan to use it all the way to the max!

Also, of course, the easy off washable pad is a must-have for kids, especially messy boys! :) The removable and washable cup holders on both sides are pretty cool as well and one of Cohen’s favorite features.. And I also appreciate the large wings on both sides of the head because I feel confident if we were to ever get into a crash, Cohen would be very safe in both head-on and side-impact crashes (heaven forbid).

The First Years definitely thought of everything with this booster! It is also very easy to buckle, with color-coded chest and waist belt paths. I love being able to hook him in and know that the belt is right where it is supposed to be.. Safety in the car is not something I want to compromise, even as my children grow older and graduate into different car seats!

Cohen is on the smaller side of this booster, being 4 years old and 36 pounds, but he is a very good boy in the car and is mature enough to sit still and keep the belt where it should be.. I think that you have to consider your child on an individual basis before thinking about graduating to a big-kid booster. If they are very wiggly or try to unbuckle themselves while driving, of course, they should wait a while longer.. There is truly no rush to get your child out of a 5-point harness seat, if they are not ready!

With that being said, if you child IS ready for a booster seat, I am a huge fan of this new First Years Compass B570 Pathway Booster! And for only $90 with FREE shipping on Amazon, this is truly a great booster!!
