Disney’s Secret of the Wings review and #giveaway

Who doesn’t love the adventurous, good-natured and mischievous Tinker Bell?! On October 23rd, Tinker Bell came out with her own movie, The Secret of the Wings!

The Tinker fairies are gearing up for a new season. Ever the inquisitive fairy, Tinker Bell can’t resist a quick peek at the world of winter, even though there are strict rules against warm fairies crossing the border into the winter woods. What Tinker Bell doesn’t know is just how dangerous that crossing is for a warm fairy. Her quick visit almost costs her a broken wing, for which there is no known cure. Tinker Bell’s fascination with the strange glow that came over her wings during her winter visit causes her to plot a visit to the Keeper of all fairy knowledge for answers–never mind that he just happens to live right in the middle of the winter woods. What she discovers on her quest will change everything for Tinker Bell, not to mention threaten the entire fairy world and be an unexpected source of new wisdom for the Keeper, Queen Clarion, and the fairies on both sides of the border. As in Disney’s other Tinker Bell adventures, the animated world of Secret of the Wings is absolutely gorgeous, whether you’re watching it in 3-D or not, and Tinker Bell’s quirky mix of curiosity, innocence, and headstrong stubbornness is always entertaining. Lucy Hale, Timothy Dalton, Matt Lanter, and Debby Ryan join the star-studded voice cast as new winter fairies Periwinkle, Lord Milori, Sled, and Spike. (Ages 3 and older) –Tami Horiuchi

I sat through this movie, with both of my boys, and we were all spell-bound. Secret of the Wings is a super cute adventure film, filled with fun and laughter! I appreciated that this film was rated G and was genuinely clean, which is hard to find these days! I think this would be a great movie for kids of all ages! The plot was a little above Eli’s head (he is almost 3) but he still did not have any problem watching and keeping entertained! I am very excited to have Natalie watch this when she gets older as well!

Disney, once again, did an amazing job with Secret of the Wings! This will make the perfect stocking stuffer for this Christmas, for sure!
