Halloween Shopping at Walgreens with the Balance Rewards Loyalty Card #BalanceRewards #Cbias

Shopping for the holidays is one of my all-time favorite things to do, right alongside throwing a party and this Halloween, I get to do BOTH! With a little help from Walgreens and their amazing new Balance Rewards Loyalty Card, I will be hosting a big party for some of my mom friends and their kiddos at my new home in a couple weeks!

Have you heard about the new Balance Rewards Loyalty Card  from Walgreens yet?! If not, you absolutely MUST check it out! It is, in a word, awesome, and has so many great uses!

Before leaving for the store with the kiddos, I downloaded the Walgreens app to my iPhone.. It only took about 2 minutes to download and set up an account. Score! I am all about fast and easy..

After signing up and receiving my card number, I could then peruse the other parts of the app. I was incredibly impressed that the app not only stores your card information, you can also view your local weekly ads, keep track of your rewards points, scan and refill prescriptions, make online purchases and more!

There are several Walgreens stores close to me but the closest is only 2 miles! Score two for Walgreens on being fast and convenient for this mama of 3!

 I was incredibly impressed at their very large selection of candy, decor and costumes! I had never shopped at Walgreens for holiday-themed products before so I was pleasantly surprised.. I also liked that they made it very well known which items were on sale and there were a TON; there were only a handful of items not on sale.. Having a family of 5 now, it is more important than ever to find the best deals! That’s score three for Walgreens!

Did you also know that the Walgreens Balance Rewards card will also save you money ON TOP OF the already0low prices?! There are special deals, just for card members, and you also have the opportunity to earn points with each purchase, redeemable for cash off {5,000 points = $5}! I truly feel that Walgreens is trying its very hardest to save its customers every penny possible! Finally.. I have found a store that cares as much about savings as I do! Score four for Walgreens!

I did not try at all to get this savings.. I know it is only $1.50 but I know that if I had paid a bit more attention to the sale items, I could have gotten a much bigger discount! But still, $1.50 is still money saved! In today’s economy, you can all take the extra $1.50 where we can get it!

I think that my favorite feature of the new Walgreens Rewards app is that the cashier can actually scan your phone like a loyalty card.. You bring up your card onto the screen at check-out and you just need to have it scanned to get your points and discounts. I really don’t think that there is an easier shopping app out there!
