Frankenweenie is the perfect film for boys of all ages! Of course, some girls might like this one as well, but with it being a bit spooky and science-y, it just screams ‘boy’ to me.. I love that this film is extremely captivating, for even younger crowds, being a black and white film. Sparky and Victor are very likable characters and even I grew attached and was sad when Sparky died at the beginning.
I do have to say that there are a few parts towards the end of the movie that are a bit intense and gruesome for the younger audiences so if you have a child that scares easily, it is probably best that you wait a bit before introducing this movie.. Even though I thought some parts a bit intense, the boys didn’t seem to mind. They both loved the science involved in bringing Sparky back to life, as well as Sparky’s new changes being Frankenweenie!

we just bought a 3d capable tv last month and watched the trailer for this movie to test it out, and it BLEW OUR MIND. can’t wait to see the whole thing!
