Well, week one on Nutrisystem was not quite what I thought it would be. I had far too high expectations and thought will-power and restraint was going to come in those first boxes of food.. Unfortunately, I spent all week cheating and making excuses for my poor choices. While some of those excuses would possibly be valid, they really don’t matter! The point is that I finally realized that they need to STOP! I am in charge of my body and I can and will make the changes I want to happen.
This week, I tried many of the delicious meals and desserts and was surprised how tasty and filling they were! I still get to eat everything I love and lose weight! My favorites, so far, are the breakfast burrito from the fresh frozen menu, the ice cream sandwich and the ravioli in meat sauce from the pantry menu. I cannot wait to choose more items for next month!
I have the opportunity to become the ‘me’ that I want to be, with help from the amazing Nutrisystem Success program! I refuse to stay where I have am and starting today, I am diving in with both feet. No more excuses. No more guilt. I am one step closer to my goal and I know that I can do it! One day soon, I will be looking at the ‘before’ pictures of myself and see the transformation! 🙂
And so begins my journey:
Week 1: -1.4 lbs
Starting weight: 175 lbs
Current weight: 173.6 lbs
For week 2, my goal is to exercise every day. I want to Couch to 5K program and I am also doing the 30 Day Shred DVD at home while the kiddos are napping.. Here’s to a healthier me!
