Baby Food 101 :: When to buy organic {Printable List}

You’ve heard of the Dirty Dozen and the Clean 15? These refer to the produce items you should and should not buy organic. Making sure to buy organic when you need to is very important for everyone, especially little babies, who are extra sensitive to all of the yucky, chemical-filled pesticides..

Feel free to print off this handy list to keep with you to make buying organic easier to remember! :) The Dirty Dozen are the items you need to buy organic due to the level of pesticides used to grow them.. The Clean 15 are ok to buy regular, not necessarily organic, if you don’t want to. I also like to buy local, if I can, which only happens in the summertime here, but if possible, I highly recommend either buying local or organic!

And remember.. This list isn’t just for baby food. You should use this list for all members of your family! Eating clean and organic is always the best choice! :)

  1. I am super shocked that corn isn’t on the “dirty” side. 85% of all corn is genetically modified. We only eat organic corn. Thanks for the handy list! :-)

    I should print this out b/c I buy a lot of dirty non-organic foods, so this would be a good reminder.
