The kids and I have a Valentine’s Party we’re going to with some friends on Thursday and I wanted a quick and easy treat to take along for all of the kiddos.. Marshmallow pops are super simple and an easy-pleaser for kids young and old, as well as adults! You can make marshmallow pops for any occasion but since I was making these for VDay, I decided to get the cute HeartMallows instead of just the regular marshmallows.. I think they ended up being really cute and the candy coating makes them extra delicious!
All you need is:
- 1 bag of HeartMallows {or regular marshmallows, if you can’t find the others}
- 2 bags of white chocolate chips
- lollipop sticks
- Valentine sprinkles
- parchment paper
Super easy; even the kiddos helped me out with making some! Just push a marshmallow onto a lollipop stick, right until it’s about to poke through the top. Then melt a half-bag of chocolate chips at a time in the microwave {or double broiler} for 30 second intervals until thoroughly melted. Dip the marshmallows in the chocolate half-way and then sprinkle with desired sprinkles while still wet. Lay on parchment paper to dry. If you’re in a rush, you can speed-dry in the fridge to harden the chocolate faster.
That’s it! Once the chocolate is hardened all the way, you’re done and they are ready to serve!
If you would like to make these into Valentine’s for friends or classmates, all you need are some small goodie bags and thin, coordinating ribbon. Just tie up one HeartMallow Pop in each baggie and they’re ready to go!
Enjoy!
