Last weekend, from Friday morning until Monday evening, Hubs and I took a mini vacation over to Seattle! We left the boys with their Grandma and just took the baby.. She is still young and I didn’t want to leave her that long yet but she’s a very easy baby so I knew it would still be a relaxing trip, even with her!

The packing, however, was the most difficult because it was so hard to pick just a few of my favorite outfits of hers to bring with us! ![]()
Seattle is about a 6-hour drive from where we live in North Idaho. It is a pretty easy drive to make, even with kids, and I enjoy all of the beautiful scenery, especially right outside of Seattle..
We stayed at the Alexis Hotel in downtown Seattle, just 3 blocks away from Pike Place Market. It was such a gorgeous area and the hotel itself was utterly amazing!
I have wanted to live in Seattle since I was in high school. Something about the city, weather, people, foods, coffee {the home of Starbucks!} and just about everything else, makes this still one of my favorite places!

Natalie loved being cozy in her Boba carrier while we walked the Market.
We had such a wonderful time seeing the sights, as well as some friends while we were there, and I can’t wait to go back! Natalie was a trooper, even getting terrible diaper rash the day before we headed home, and I think she really did have a lot of fun with the one-on-one attention that Hubs and I could give to her with the boys being gone.
Our stay at the Alexis was a dream, the food we had was delicious and all-in-all, the trip was a huge success and did wonders for my need for a vacation!
Seattle, you will be missed.

I live about 30 minutes South of Seattle and it is so awesome here! My in-laws live in Post Falls and it is nice over there too! Glad you enjoyed your trip!
